 San Diego Bay "Fun" Events
There are a "ton" of events in and around San Diego Bay and Shelter Island, that are best enjoyed by starting with Breakfast at the Red Sails, or ending the day with a Sunset Cocktail and Dining on our patio. And plenty of free parking makes it even easier!

Humphrey's "Concerts By The Bay" is a nationally recognized concert venue, in the beautiful setting between Humphrey's Restaurant and the Half Moon Inn.

There is plenty of parking here at the Red Sails, and you can enjoy "before or after" dining and cocktails within strolling distance of the venue.
The Red Bull Air Races have now enjoyed their 2nd great year in San Diego. Many of our customers watch the races from their boats based here at Shelter Island. Drop by before or after the races and enjoy waterfront dining.

"Holidays of Summer"

Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day are always big summer holidays, and what better place than Shelter Island. Begin or end your holiday with the team here at the Red Sails, and enjoy beautiful patio dining next to the water.

Now, that they've re-positioned the fireworks barges, there is usually an excellent view right from your patio table.
San Diego's world-class Sportfishing Industry holds an annual "Day at the Docks" with activities for the entire family. Park here at the Red Sails, have Breakfast and then enjoy an easy walk to the Docks.
